Toxicon-16 conference from tomorrow

Mangaluru: Kasturba Medical College will host the 16th annual national conference of the Indian Society of Toxicology (IST) – ‘Toxicon-16’.
The two-day conference will be held from Saturday. The theme of the conference is, ‘Toxicology in CBME Curriculum: Challenges and opportunities’. The theme is chosen, keeping in mind the recent amendment of the MBBS curriculum.
It is to emphasise the importance of toxicology in medical curriculum, challenges which medical teachers are facing with existing resources, and infrastructure to implement it.
