No interim relief from HC for ex-JMC mayor

Jaipur: JMC-Greater former mayor Somya Gurjar did not get any relief from the high court on Thursday as the hearing on her petition challenging her dismissal from the post and stay on the bypolls has now been adjourned till November 7. Hearing on the petition was held in the court of Justice Mahendra Goyal. But the judge refused to grant a stay on the matter and fixed the next hearing on November 7. The state government had dismissed Somya Gurjar and three other councillors of JMC-Greater from their posts for inappropriate behaviour with the then commissioner Yagyamitra Singh Deo.
