Anti-rabies, anti-snake venom vaccine in all district hospitals

VARANASI: All government hospitals in the district will provide round-the-clock anti-rabies and anti-snake venom vaccination facilities.
Issuing an order in this regard on Thursday, chief medical officer Dr Sandeep Chaudhary said all the government hospitals have been directed to make necessary arrangements for it.
As per the order, the emergency service rooms of SPG divisional hospital, DDU district hospital, LBS hospital Ramnagar, all block level, urban and rural primary and community health centres will ensure availability of anti-rabies and anti-snake venom vaccination facility.
The hospitals will also have to display the information in bold letters at emergency service rooms. CMO said a publicity campaign will also be launched in this regard.
