BIMTECH and TimesPro launch PG diploma in logistics

NOIDA: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) and TimesPro on Thursday unveiled their post-graduate diploma in management course in logistics and supply chain management that aims to leverage the National Logistics Policy and create a talent pool for tech-based employment avenues.
The two-year online module will focus on building strategic and tactical frameworks, provide domain knowledge, and skill students in new-age technology. Industry experts present at the launch of the course laid out the scope and challenges of logistics and supply chain management to underline the importance of a training module.
“With technological interventions like AI, big data, internet of things, etc, the Indian logistics and supply chain market will grow exponentially and create significant employment opportunities. Investments are already flowing in and government policies are in line to give a big push to this sector. So, we felt the need for a partnership of this kind to create highly trained managerial talent in logistics, where highly trained tech-enabled managerial talent is missing,” said TimesPro CEO Anish Srikrishna.
