Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 3.81 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.62 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(number of shares traded: 2.98 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 2.57 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.37 crore), UCO Bank(number of shares traded: 2.16 crore), (number of shares traded: 1.79 crore), Bank of India(number of shares traded: 1.78 crore), Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.62 crore) and South Indian Bnk(number of shares traded: 1.61 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 14.25 points down at 18038.45, while BSE Sensex was down 92.58 points at 60743.83 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 3.70 per cent), .(up 2.19 per cent), .(up 1.69 per cent), .(up 1.69 per cent) and .(up 1.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 1.89 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent), .(down 1.48 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.39 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
