IAF’s Agnipath recruitment in Ranchi from November 7

RANCHI: The registration process for the recruitment in Air Force through Agnipath scheme will open on November 7 and end on November 23. The online recruitment exams would start from January 18, 2023. The unmarried men and women aspirants can register themselves online at www.agnipathvayu.cdac.
Candidates are required to have at least 5 % marks in their intermediate or equivalent course from a recognised board or university and at least 50% marks in English.
Meanwhile, the written exams of the candidates who had got selected for Army under the scheme will be conducted on November 13. The exams would be held at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Ranchi.
All the aspirants for different wings including Agniveer General Duty, Technician, Clerk/Storekeeper Technical and Tradesman (10th and 8th pass) who have qualified in the rally will have to report to the Area Recruiting Office on November 5.
Earlier, 86,155 had candidates registered themselves for the army rally that started on September 5 and continued till September 22. Around 3500 candidates have qualified for the rally and medical test and they will appear in the written exam.
Talking to TOI, ARO Colonel Rakesh Kumar, said, “Candidates who qualified at the rally will take the written examination. After passing the written examination, these applicants will join the Indian army. The training of selected candidates from across the state will begin in the last month of December. In addition, there will be applicants on standby based on the merit list, so that if somebody is unable to join, they can do so.
