Shringar Gauri case: AIM files objection to survey reports

Varanasi: Anjuman Intezamia Masajid (AIM) — the Gyanvapi mosque management committee — on Wednesday filed objection against the reports of court-mandated survey of Gyanvapi mosque before the court of district judge, stating that the ablution pond of the mosque was surveyed without being emptied completely to examine the fountain which was claimed as ‘shivling’ by the plaintiffs, reports Rajeev Dikshit.
Moving the objection before district judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha, the AIM also challenged application no. 82c of plaintiffs 2 to 5 (Laxmi Devi, Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas and Rekha Pathak) in case no. 18/2022 that has sought breaking of eastern and northern walls of the basements on the Gyanvapi compound for further survey.
