& Fertilizers(down 3.23%), & Petrochemicals(down 2.26%), Agro Phos(down 2.15%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.99%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.96%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.82%), Aries Agro(down 0.79%), Rama Phosphates(down 0.62%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.57%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.54%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 30.15 points down at 18052.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 69.68 points at 60836.41.
State Bank of India(up 1.93%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.29%), UPL Ltd(up 1.21%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.11%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.09%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.98%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.86%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.77%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.75%) and Tata Steel(up 0.74%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 2.69%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.6%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 2.25%), NTPC(down 1.55%), Infosys(down 1.45%), Eicher Motors(down 1.45%), Tata Motors(down 1.4%), Wipro(down 1.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.25%) and Tata Consultancy(down 1.08%) closed in the red.
