Delhi HC notice to ED on Shivakumar’s plea against PMLA probe

NEW DELHI: The Delhi HC has sought ED’s response on a plea by Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar challenging a money laundering probe initiated against him. It issued notice to ED on his petition, which also challenges the constitutional validity of the clubbing of an offence relating to disproportionate assets under Prevention of Corruption Act with PMLA.
It’ll hear the matter on December 15.
