NWR to hold psyche docs’ conferenceon Nov 12

Jaipur: North Western Railway (NWR) will host the first annual conference of Indian Railways psychiatrists in the city on November 12. As many as 200 psychiatry and de-addiction experts will participate in it, said officials on Wednesday.
NWR general manager Vijay Kumar Sharma and chief public relations officer Captain Shashi Kiran released a brochure of the conference. Sharma said this conference would help a lot of railway employees and the public in general as people are suffering from mental issues, and the conference will help more people to talk about it and find redressal.
“During and after the Covid-19 pandemic, mental health of many people has been affected due to loneliness, excessive use of mobile phone or internet, spending more screen time, and other reasons. Railway psychiatry experts will read their research papers and share their experiences,” said Kiran. TNN
