‘Upliftment of Dalits evident in UP in CM Yogi govt’

Varanasi: UP Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation chairman Lalji Prasad Nirmal on Tuesday said that change in system is in progress in UP under chief minister Yogi Adityanath as atrocities against Dalits is getting checked due to exemplary actions being taken against those trying to commit crime against the SC and backward class people.
During a brief chat with reporters here, Nirmal said that it was in CM Yogi’s regime when a Dalit groom went for his marriage on a horse in Kasganj.
“One should visit villages if they wanted to see the smile on faces of Dalits,” he said, adding, upliftment of Dalits is evident in rural areas under Yogi regime as the CM maintains transparency in political as well as personal life. Criminal elements, people indulged in corrupt practices are in discomfort. Problems are old hence time would be taken to solve them but the change is system is evident now, he further added. Later, while addressing gathering at Musahar locality near Behda power house of Rajatalab area, he said how benefits of government schemes reached smoothly among poor in the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Yogi to improve their life standard. He also took feedback on housing and other schemes from the people present there. He also highlighted Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyudaya Yojana (PM-AJAY) for employment generation and entrepreneurship development.
