5% rise in Oct GST collection

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded a 5% growth in overall GST revenue collection in October, with total collection estimated at Rs 3,769 crore compared to Rs 3,593 crore collected during the same period last year. The figures were issued by the Union ministry of finance.
Though the state GST commissioner’s office is yet to release official figures specifying collection under state GST (SGST), central GST (CGST), integrated GST (IGST) and cess for October, sources said the growth under all four components is encouraging.TNN
