HDMC official suspended

Hubballi: An HDMC official was suspended on Tuesday on the suspicion of furnishing fake marks cards to get a promotion.
District statistics collection officer Saikumar Halli filed a police complaint, stating that Vasant Anniger was promoted as statistics officer in 2016. “He submitted a marks card of a degree from Mysuru University. When his card was reviewed, it was found to be fake,” he wrote. The HDMC commissioner was informed about the matter and a departmental inquiry is on against Anniger.
