NEW DELHI: (numbers of share traded: 5.62 crore), Axis Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.28 crore), Excel Realty N Infr(numbers of share traded: 3.64 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 2.75 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.33 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.59 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.56 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 0.99 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 0.81 crore) and NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 0.71 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 133.2 points up at 18145.4, while BSE Sensex ended up 374.76 points at 61121.35.
On the other hand, .(down 3.78 per cent), .(down 1.81 per cent), .(down 1.35 per cent), .(down 0.77 per cent) and .(down 0.77 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
