LUCKNOW: A 37-year-old woman died allegedly due to dengue while 22 others were diagnosed with the infection on Monday, taking the tally of the vector-borne disease in the city to 907 since January.
The woman was suffering from fever and liver problem and was admitted to SGPGIMS after visiting several private hospitals. Chief medical officer Manoj Agarwal said: "We have a sought report from the hospital to review the case and conduct a death audit." "The condition of all those infected are said to be stable and are recuperating at their homes.
Larvae of dengue vector mosquitoes --Aedes aegypti-- were found at 23 sites," said Agarwal. Earlier, a 28-year-old man had died reportedly due to dengue at a private hospital on Kanpur Road.
