AgenciesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 374.76 points up at 61121.35 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Spaceage Products(down 19.97 per cent), Starlit Power Sys.(down 11.76 per cent), Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd.(down 10.97 per cent), Betex India(down 10.68 per cent) and Arex Industries(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 133.2 points up at 18145.4.
On the BSE, , , , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , Ltd., , Ltd. and Info-Infra(I)Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
