Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Weizmann Ltd(14.19%), (14.06%), Universus Photo(14.03%), Aarti Surfactants(12.36%), Biofil Chem(12.21%), Ltd.(11.11%), Valiant Organics(10.27%), Tips .(10.0%) and Ravalgaon Sugar(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 404.48 points up at 61151.07, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 122.95 points to 18135.15.
In the Nifty 50 index, 43 stocks traded in the green, while 7 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , Alkosign Ltd., , Ltd. and Containe Technologies Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , , and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
