Cop breastfeeds famished infant taken from mom

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Police chief on Monday felicitated policewoman MR Ramya for breastfeeding an infant separated from its mother.
On Saturday, a woman lodged a complaint that her newborn had been taken away due to family dispute. Cops tracked the child and rushed it to a hospital. Doctors found the infant’s sugar level low. Ramya told doctors she was a lactating mother and fed the infant.
