Gurugram: logs 26 new Covid cases; positivity rate 1.2%

GURUGRAM: Twenty six new Covid cases were reported in the city on Monday, while the positivity rate was recorded at 1.2%, said a health official.
Gurgaon currently has 101 active cases, out of which four patients are hospitalised. The health department collected 2,216 samples on Monday.
October recorded 613 cases in total while September and August saw 1,386 and 10,414 Covid infections, respectively. Meanwhile, Haryana logged 47 new Covid cases on Monday. At present, there are 194 active cases and the positivity rate is at 1%.
On Monday, 34 patients recovered from the infection and the health authorities collected 3,909 samples for antigen and RT-PCR tests. As many as 733 people were given the vaccine dose during the day. Till now, 10,56,151 people have tested positive in Haryana since the beginning of the pandemic.
With this the cumulative covid count of the state has gone to 1056156 cases , 10712 deaths, 1045227 recoveries and 194 active cases out of which 17 are hospitalized.
The only Covid fatality was reported from Panipat. While Gurgaon reported the highest 26 new cases.
Remaining cases were reported from nine other districts which saw one to four cases each.
