Salem: The
Communist Party of India – Marxist Leninist (CPI-ML) Liberation has urged the state government to pass a resolution at the legislative assembly against the Salem-Chennai eight-way road project.
At the party’s district meeting at Ammapet in Salem on Monday, party’s state secretary N K Natarajan said the project would affect farmers. “Only corporates would benefit from the project, not the public. The party would carry out a series of the protest if the project is not dropped.” tnn
