Prayagraj: 40 new dengue cases reported

PRAYAGRAJ: The Sangam City reported 40 fresh dengue cases on Monsay taking the caseload to 882. Health officials claimed that 829 patients have recovered, 53 others are undergoing treatment.
The city has also reported six deaths so far. Health officials said there are total 53 active cases and 24 of them are hospitalized while 29 are being treated at home.
Health officials, meanwhile, said that apart from anti-larva spraying, fever survey is also being carried out in many pockets of the city, trans-ganga and trans-Yamuna.
