Goa univ to host event on reuse of items
Panaji: In a bid to encourage recycling and reuse of items, The Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy at Goa University will hold an initiative where citizens will be able to exchange their belongings which they no longer require with things brought in for exchange by other citizens.
The programme ‘Divap ani Ghevap’ (Give and Take) will be ‘an exchange of pre-loved goods’ and will take place at on December 14, from 10am to 4pm, at GU’s Silver Jubilee Hall.
“Exchange your pre-loved goods such as clothes, accessories, stationery, kitchen items and other household items. Get anything in good reusable condition that you are not using anymore and exchange it for pre-loved goods contributed by others. This is an initiative towards decluttering and sharing,” the notice states.
“Broken, soiled, torn and unusable items are strictly not allowed. All contributions should reach the Women’s Studies office, Faculty Block B on or before December 14,” states the notice from the department.
