Covid claimed dad, teen son dies in Morbi bridge collapse

RAJKOT: This Diwali was supposed to bring some cheer to the Parmar family. After his father’s death during the Covid pandemic, Ravi Parmar (17) dropped out of studies and took up a job to support his family.
The youth took a Diwali break and decided to relax with his cousin Deepak Rathod who had arrived from Surat. Both went for a stroll on the Morbi bridge, but Rathod came back reeling under shock bearing the news of Ravi’s death.
