
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 546.79 points up at 60506.64 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sanmit Infra(down 88.00 per cent), Sportking India(down 16.18 per cent), Mafia Trends Ltd.(down 14.58 per cent), Filtra Consultants &(down 14.00 per cent) and Spaceage Products(down 12.91 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 154.2 points up at 17941.0.
On the BSE, , Intellect Design, , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , Avantel, Containe Technologies Ltd., and Modis Navnirman Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
