Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Infibeam Avenues(number of shares traded: 3.06 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.31 crore), South Indian Bnk(number of shares traded: 2.08 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.89 crore), Bandhan Bank(number of shares traded: 1.55 crore), (number of shares traded: 1.44 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.25 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.15 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.14 crore) and BHEL(number of shares traded: 1.06 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 160.9 points up at 17947.7, while BSE Sensex was up 573.79 points at 60533.64 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & .(up 3.00 per cent), .(up 2.30 per cent), .(up 2.22 per cent), .(up 2.18 per cent) and .(up 1.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 0.95 per cent), .(down 0.69 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.13 per cent) and .(down 0.06 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
