Allahabad: 97-hour-long all-faith bhajan meet organised

PRAYAGRAJ: A non-stop 97-hour long ‘sarv dharam bhajan’ (all-religion bhajans), organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Sangathan, Prayagraj was held at Mathur Vaishya Dharamshala of Mumfordganj locality of the Sangam city on Sunday. Being organised as a prelude to the 97th birthday celebration of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the event was attended by a large number of devotees from the city as well as from the neighbouring districts.
Spreading the message of love, truthfulness, non-violence, peace and co-existence, hundreds of devotees started singing the all-religion bhajans on Sunday and sung 97 bhajans continuously. The programme was inaugurated by the state president of the samiti, Sachin Neb amidst presence of prominent organisers and Sai devotees. The message of ‘Love all serve all’ by Sri Sathya Sai Baba was also spread through bhajans and seva activities of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation.
Informing about the bhajans, zonal coordinator Gopal Tiwari said that the programme is being organised to spread the teachings of Baba. Devotees, crossing the bar of caste and religion arrived and participated in the bhajans continuously. The event is held on the last Sunday of the month of October and is part of the birthday celebrations of Bhaghwan Sai Baba, which will be held on November 23. The bhajan programme concluded at 7:00 pm by Mahamangal Arti of Baba which was performed by Justice Rajeev Mishra of Allahabad High Court, he added.
