Yamunanagar: Student falls from third floor of college building, dies

YAMUNANAGAR: A female student died under mysterious circumstances after she allegedly fell from the third floor of a private college building in the city Yamunanagar on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Anchal of Mehrampur village in Yamunanagar district, a student of final year of bachelors of Arts in a private college of the city.
Yamunanagar City police station house officer (SHO) inspector Kamaljeet Singh said that they received the information that a female student had fallen from her college building.
"We reached the spot and rushed the student to the city hospital, where she was declared dead by doctors. The reason behind the incident is being investigated. So far, we have not received any complaint and her family members have not raised suspicion against anybody. The post-mortem of the deceased would be conducted at the Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar on Tuesday and her body has been kept at the mortuary", said inspector Kamaljeet.
