Goa: Traffic jam at Chorla ghat after truck overturns

VALPOI : A heavy goods truck toppled on the Chorla Ghat on Sunday morning leading to a several-hour-long massive traffic jam.
The incident occurred 10km from the Anjunem dam at Keri.
As the news of the traffic jam spread via social media, people heading to Belagavi or other places in Karnataka were advised to take the Anmod ghat route.
A crane was called in to lift the truck.
Commuters have requested the government to repair the ghat road as soon as possible as the huge potholes are responsible for several accidents and frequent traffic jams.
