Thane: Police find body of auto driver with his throat slit

THANE: Mumbra police have recovered a body of a man with throat slit from the bushes in Ambedkar nagar area. The deceased has been identified as Faijan Memon, an auto driver.
According to his wife it was on Monday when he left for a party with his friend but never returned.
The cops have booked the accused for murder and have launched a manhunt to nab him.
“It is suspected that the absconding accused in the case had blamed the deceased for robbing mobile phone, that could have led to murder. Further investigation has been launched. CCTVs leading to the crime spot are also getting scanned for further leads in the case,” said a police officer from Mumbra police station.
