Puja samiti offers free bus rides

Gumla: A Chhath Puja samiti has arranged free bus rides for Chhath devotees to help them reach the Khatwa river ghat in Gumla from the town area.
“Our puja samiti has arranged six buses till now. These buses will be available at different locations in the town area. We have also issued mobile phone numbers (9801583555, 9199383605, 9263434911 & 8294126060) where people can call for details of the services,” said Khatwa river Chhath Puja samiti president Rakesh Singh.
The bus services will be available for Sunday and Monday, the last two days of the Chhath Puja, the samiti members said. The puja begins on Friday with the Nahay Khay rituals.
