The NSE Nifty index traded 79.0 points up at 17735.35, while BSE Sensex was up 244.32 points at 59788.28 as of 11:15AM(IST)on October 27.
In the Nifty index, .(up 4.69 per cent), .(up 3.48 per cent), .(up 3.26 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent) and .(up 1.77 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 1.25 per cent), .(down 1.06 per cent), .(down 0.95 per cent), .(down 0.75 per cent) and .(down 0.67 per cent) were among the top losers.
