Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.66% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:25AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills(up 5.63 per cent), DLF(up 1.93 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.75 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.28 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 1.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty(down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 1.66 per cent at 432.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 64.8 points at 17721.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 188.22 points at 59732.18.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of , , , PNB and Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , Bharat Bijlee, Varanium Cloud Ltd., and Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , , Phantom Digital Effects Ltd., Mega Flex . and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
