The Bharat Jodo Yatra had entered Telangana via Gudebellur on October 23 morning, after exiting Karnataka from Raichur. The march took a break from Sunday noon till October 26. This time, the rally will cover a distance of 26.7 kms tomorrow and halt at Sri Balaji Factory, Makthal for the night.

Congress will from tomorrow resume its Telangana leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is the opposition political party's nationwide rally seeking to unite voices and protest against injustice.

Led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the rally in the southern state will resume after a gap of three days at 6.30 am from 11/22 KV Substation in Maktal in Narayanpet district, according to party sources.

Gandhi is likely to reach Telangana this evening. After resuming the march, Gandhi is expected to cover three kilomtres and then offer prayers at Kanyaka Parameswari temple, the sources said.

This time, the rally will cover a distance of 26.7 kms tomorrow and halt at Sri Balaji Factory, Makthal for the night. From there, the march will go on for 16 days, covering 19 assembly and 7 Parliamentary constituencies for a distance of 375 km, before entering Maharashtra on November 7. before begining the Telangana leg of the marathon walk, Gandhi had completed the rally in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra will take a break on November 4.

The State Congress has formed 10 special committees to coordinate the journey in Telangana, during which Gandhi is expected to meet intellectuals, leaders of various communities, politicians, sports, business and cinema personalities, apart from visiting prayer halls, mosques and Hindu temples.
