Goons unleash terror on Diwali night in Rajkot

Rajkot: Goons unleashed terror on Morbi road on Diwali night as they went on a stabbing and looting spree, attacking at least nine people at four separate locations within two hours.
Police arrested Devsi Koli, Karan Mer and Arjun Mer, but not before they had assaulted the victims who were immersed in festivities. Four separate offences were lodged against them. Senior police officials said that the three resorted to terrorizing people merely to establish their supremacy in the area.
Moving around in a car, they first attacked two migrant labourers living in the rooms of a school in Satellite Chowk locality without any reason at around 10pm. They were armed with knives, sticks, pipes and other sharp weapons. tnn
