An ardent supporter of Peter Obi's Labour Party took his encouragement for the party to a "literally" high level after he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain, in Tanzania. It took 10 and a half hours for the supporter, identified as OGersh, to climb the mountain and hoist the Labour Party flag at the Uhuru peak.

The Labour Party supporter on Tuesday took to Twitter and shared a photo of him next to the party's flag at Uhuru peak. He posted that the arrival of a new Nigeria could be declared the best on the rooftop of Africa.

"On Friday, after 10 and a half hours of climbing, trekking and hiking, I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level. There is no better place to declare the coming of the New Nigeria than the rooftops of Africa," the supporter tweeted.

The Uhuru peak is the highest and final point of Mount Kilimanjaro and is also the highest on the entire African continent.
