Vadodara: It seems even clear directives from top brass do not make any difference when it comes to the declaration of exam results at M S University.
Sources said that MSU vice-chancellor (VC) professor Vijaykumar Shrivastava had recently directed all the staff involved in the preparation of results to declare the results of first year (FY) BCom students by October 23. But the results have not been declared.
Going by the rules and regulations of the university, results of any exams conducted at the university have to be declared within 45 days of the conduct of such exams.
A syndicate resolution (SR) regarding the same is already in place for nearly a decade. After receiving complaints from students regarding delays in the declaration of results, Shrivastava recently stressed that the SR should be strictly implemented.
Exams of FY BCom students at Faculty of Commerce got winded up in the month of August. Shrivastava during a meeting last week is learnt to have issued strict instructions that the results should be announced before Diwali vacation.
But even as the university has slipped into vacation mode, the results are yet to be declared.
