Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:10AM

& Fertilizers(up 3.48%), Sikko Industries(up 2.76%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.05%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.32%), & Fertilizers(up 1.30%), National Fertilizer(up 1.23%), & Chemicals(up 1.13%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.65%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.62%) and KRISHANA(up 0.57%) were among the top gainers.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 5.00%), Aries Agro(down 1.29%), Coromandel International(down 1.10%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.59%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.59%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.53%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 37.9 points down at 17692.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 147.31 points at 59684.35 at around 11:10AM.

JSW Steel(up 2.03%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.74%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.62%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.61%), Tata Motors(up 1.33%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.25%), State Bank of India(up 1.12%), Grasim Industries(up 1.12%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.03%) and Cipla(up 0.84%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Nestle India(down 2.41%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 2.23%), Hindustan Unilever(down 2.2%), Axis Bank(down 1.92%), UPL Ltd(down 1.91%), Britannia Industries(down 1.78%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.58%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.51%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.1%) and Bajaj Finance(down 0.91%) were trading in the red.
