
Foreign institutional investor Nomura Singapore has offloaded 26,39,673 equity shares or 1.5% stake in underperforming private sector lender today, NSE bulk deals data shows.
The deal was executed at an average traded price of Rs 232.30 per share, at a marginal discount compared to the previous day’s closing price of Rs 233.85.
Of the total 5.06% stake held by FIIs in the counter as of the quarter ended June, Nomura held 1.84% stake.
In a separate deal, foreign brokerage Maybank Securities bought 26,39,673 shares of CSB Bank at an average price of Rs 232.3 per share.
The Kerala-based private sector lender has delivered a negative return of over 25% in the last one year, while so far in calendar year 2022 it has yielded negative returns of over 2%.
