A carcass of a female elephant was found in Pratappur forest range in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh on October 23. ìA carcass of a female elephant was found in Pratappur forest range in Surajpur district. The animal had injuries near her teeth which indicated that she might've been attacked by another elephant. Villagers were asked to take precautions,î informed DFO Surajpur on October 23.
