Maharashtra: Youth dragged under tyre of car hit by moth attack near Kolhapur
The youth got injured but luckily survived.
KOLHAPUR: A youth came under the tyre of a car and was dragged for around ten feet at Shiroli bridge along Pune-Bengaluru National Highway-48 near Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Saturday midnight.
The incident took place around 11.30pm.
The youth got injured but luckily survived. The identity of the youth is yet to be ascertained by the police. He was rushed to hospital by his friends to get the bruises treated, said an onlooker.
Moths are attracted towards the car lamps while driving at night time, affecting the vision of the drivers. Several cars also skidded due to moths.
Meanwhile, few youths also stopped by road side appealing vehicle owners to stop their cars and switch-off the lamps.
