Vadodara gets regular DEO

Vadodara: After a gap of almost two years, Vadodara has got a full-time district education officer (DEO). The post of Vadodara DEO was lying vacant for the last two years.
The state education department has now issued transfer orders of DEOs and district primary education officers(DPEOs).
Rakesh Vyas, who was serving as DEO of Ahmedabad (rural) has been appointed as DEO of Vadodara. At the same time, Archana Chaudhary, who was serving as DPEO in Vadodara has been appointed as DEO of Aravalli district.
In all the, state education department has issued transfer orders of 24 DEOs and DPEOs. Dr Bharat Vadher, DPEO of Botad, has been assigned the task of handling the post of Ahmedabad (rural) DEO.
Vinu Patel, who was serving as DPEO of Panchmahal, has been appointed as DPEO of Banaskantha, while Gayatri Patel, who was serving as DEO of Aravalli, has been appointed as DPEO of Panchmahal.
Similarly, Archana Prajapati, who was serving as DPEO of Gandhinagar, has been appointed as DPEO of Anand. The education department has asked the officers to submit their joining report at the earliest.
