Man rapes daughter in Alwar, parents tried to hide crime

JAIPUR: A 9-year-old girl studying in class 4 was raped allegedly by her father at their home under Behror police station area of Alwar recently. Though the accused man and his wife did everything to conceal the incident, villagers brought this to the notice of Childline, following which a case of rape was lodged against her father. It is also found that the girl got stitches in her private parts after the incident that had taken place almost five days ago.
According to police, the girl was raped by her father almost five days ago. “After the girl sustained grave injuries on her private parts, they took her to a private hospital and got her medication. However, the parents did not share this incident with anyone. But somehow the villagers and people in the neighbourhood came to know about the incident and brought it to the notice of Childline. The Childline’s local coordinator informed us and a case was registered,” said a senior police officer of Behror police station.
“Some villagers came to know about it and on Thursday evening they had called at our helpline number and narrated the incident. Thus, it was decided to lodge an FIR in this case,” said Mukesh Kumar, coordinator of Alwar Childline.
