LUDHIANA: Ludhiana police have brought back two minor girls who had boarded a train to Indore as they were scared of a scolding during the parent-teacher meet in their school. Ludhiana police traced the girls on Wednesday night and brought them back on Thursday.
Police said the girls were handed over to their parents on Thursday after counselling. The girls, aged 16, were students of Class IX in a government school at a village. Cops said they had left the house on October 15 morning, but hadn’t reached school. The girls traveled from the village to Ludhiana railway station and then boarded a train to Indore. tnn
