31 new Covid cases in Gurugram, positivity rate 1.6%

GURUGRAM: Thirty one new Covid cases were reported in the city on Thursday, while the positivity rate has been recorded at 1.6%.
Gurugram currently has 95 active cases, out of which three patients are hospitalised. The health department collected 2,235 samples on Thursday.
As for the vaccination, 53 jabs were administered in the city on Thursday.
So far in the month of October, 489 cases have been registered while September and July saw 1,386 and 10,414 cases, respectively.
Meanwhile, a total of 57 persons have been found positive for Covid-19 in Haryana on Thursday. The total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the state has now reached 10,55,772 and the total numbers of deaths recorded till date are 10,710. On the other hand, 10,44813 persons in the state have been discharged after treatment and the total active cases are 226.
As far as vaccination is concerned, a total of 1587 persons were vaccinated on Thursday in which 120 received their first dose and 399 persons received their second dose of vaccination. As many as 1,068 persons have also taken precautionary doses. With this, the total coverage of vaccination in the state is 4,54,13,665 till date.
