GUWAHATI: Four people were killed in a chopper crash in
Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district on Friday.
"Four dead bodies have been recovered till now while the search is on for the remaining one person", the army confirmed in a statement.
The advanced light helicopter of Army crashed at around 10.45 am in the district bordering China.
The crash occurred at Singing village under Paling circle, which is about 25 km south of district headquarters, Tuting.
On October 5 a Cheetah helicopter of Army had crashed near Tawang during a routine sortie killing one of the two pilots.
The crash had occurred at Nyamjang Chu near Bap Teng Kang waterfall area of Jemeithang circle in Tawang district. The Cheetah helicopter with two pilots were coming from Surwa Samba area on a routing sortie.
