Firing in chief minister’s hometown, one injured

THANE: Unidentified men fired upon a 27-year-old man for stopping them from vandalising a car in Ghantali area of Naupada in Thane.
This is the third incident of firing in chief minister Eknath Shinde's hometown.
The incident occurred at around 5am.
The accused had old enmity with a small time builder in Ghantali area. Hence, the accused were vandalising the car when the victim who was passing by questioned them. The accused opened fire on him and one bullet hit his chest.
The police said his condition is stable and multiple teams are hunting for the accused.
