Shivraj Patil gives clarification after his ‘Bhagavad Gita, jihad’ remark sparks row

As the controversy over his recent remark on linking ‘jihad’ and the ‘Bhagwad Gita’ sparked row, Former Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil on October 21 tried to give clarification aiming to settle the row. Earlier, Union Minister Shivraj Patil drew a link between ‘jihad’ and the ‘Bhagwad Gita’ stating that the Congress leaders can go to any extent for the appeasement of Muslims.
