Voltas shares gain 0.41% as Sensex rises

Shares of the . traded at Rs 871.75 on BSE at 10:45AM (IST) on Friday, up 0.41 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 857.9 and a high of Rs 1347.75.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 58.63 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 14.84 per share and 7.49 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 5,564 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:45AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 28795.24 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 26.85 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 3.59 per cent fall in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 884.45 and Rs 868.95.

Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2022. FII and MF ownership in Voltas Ltd. stood at 24.67 per cent and 17.27 per cent, respectively.
