Sachdev is SCDGC principal

Ludhiana: Tanvir Sachdev has been appointed as the principal of Satish Chander Dhawan Government College (SCDGC). Prior to this, she had been serving this institution as head of the PG department of English, in addition to being the vice-principal.
Talking about priority, Tanvir said, “My main focus would be on getting the NAAC accreditation, and motivating students to outperform seniors.”
Sachdev is an alumnus of all three universities of Punjab. She has over 25 years of experience in research and teaching gender studies, English language and literature at the doctorate, postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Gender, Indian feminism, and post-colonial studies are her areas of specialisation and research. tnn
