Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.63% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:50AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.

Brigade Enterprises(up 0.5 per cent) and DLF(up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 1.78 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.68 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.65 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 0.57 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.53 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.63 per cent at 424.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 5.1 points at 17507.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 37.57 points at 59069.62.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.

Shares of , , PNB, Zomato Ltd. and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , Tracxn Technologies Ltd., , and Madhya Bharat Agro hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Piramal Pharma Ltd., Penta Gold, and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
